Polls: Where, When, Stay

How each poll shows its choices. They’re the app’s real components with the sample trip’s places and stays. Tap to vote: it only changes this page.

Where and Stay each come in two views. People switch between them with the segmented toggle. Choices are sorted most-voted first.

When voting closes, the winning place gets a Winner chip and voting stops.

Each stay shows its photo and name, a purple price per person chip (the total split across everyone in the jaunt) and a rust rating chip.

Border Means
Coral (Action) The stay is a link to its listing. Tapping the card asks, then opens it in a new tab
Usual photo card border A stay that was only named, with no link
Red, with “No longer available” The listing has gone

Below, Chalet Le Lac and Hotel Alpaka are links, the Slopeside flat has gone, and Iona’s family chalet was only named, so it has no link and no photo.

  • Tap a start day, then an end day, then Add to suggest a date range. Your ranges are listed underneath, each with a × to remove it.
  • The heat map starts off. Turn it on with its toggle: each day gets a small tower showing how many people are free, in four coral steps, from the palest (up to a quarter) to full coral (over three quarters).
  • With the heat map on, tapping a day’s tower shows who’s free that day.

When voting closes, each poll page shows what was decided instead of the poll: the place, the dates, the stay, each over its photo with a Decided chip. An admin also gets an edit card underneath (Edit place, Edit dates, Edit stay) to change it.

On the Stay page, each stay is a row with its link and price. The pencil opens it to change the details or remove it.
